CARNALTV; So, you started out as a ballet dancer?

JOLIE: Actually, I started when I was three and I quit when I was eighteen. Fifteen years total.

CARNALTV: Does that help?

JOLIE: It does for flexibility, yeah. Oh, hey… those are kind of “comfi” Wow, I just surprised because most wooden… yeah… most wooden shoes aren’t that ‘comfi”.

JOLIE: The first time I worked for Andrew Blake, I think I ruined about five thousand dollars worth of stockings in two seconds. They put them on me, and I ripped them… literally. That’s why I usually have to ask. [whispers] cause I’ll probably rip them. They will probably get ripped!

CARNALTV: So, a good stocking ____

JOLIE: One size fits all. Yeah, this would be perfect, cause it says 5’5’’ to 5’10’’, so this will be fine. And I’m 5’7’’, so this will be perfect. Oh, um… I also need socks I’m not going to have to walk on the dirty floor.

CARNALTV: What items to you always have with you before a shoot?

JOLIE: Shave gel and razor. When I’m in the office , I like to carry all my model releases in there, extra id’s, you know, scanned image of all… not only my id’s but umm, all of my credit card…

CARNALTV: Let’s get back to Ballet?

JOLIE: I was in ballet for fifteen years. Hardcore ballet, actually. Was on point for, about, three or four years. I had a lot of fun, and you know, I never did a recital though… I got too fucking scared. That’s why I don’t dance.

CARNALTV: Did you dance with a group or ensemble?

JOLIE: No, I was never part of the company, which is why my parents put me in ballet; ballet and Tae Kwon Do.

CARNALTV: So you kick ass and dance your way out of it?

JOLIE: Uh huh [laughs] I know that’s an odd combination. It was a lot of fun doing both. Tae Kwon Do had weapons.

CARNALTV: Weapons huh? That’s quite the hot combination elegance and grace combined with confidence and strength…Is there preparation to do in that business?

JOLIE: Yes there was, we did a lot more bending.

CARNALTV: When you do something, is your mind in the scene or somewhere else, doing other things?

JOLIE: Normally it is in the scene, making sure I’m pointing my toes and having fun at the same time. I know that’s an odd thing, but like seriously… if you go through the paces, you’ll never explain toes ever again. I catch myself at home pointing my toes during sex.

JOLIE: And I’m all like, what the fuck am I doing?

CARNALTV: DO you consider yourself to be a bit of a tom boy.

JOLIE: Yeah.

CARNALTV: So its sounds like clothes just aren’t your thing?

JOLIE: I do most things in my house, naked, accept for cooking, cause I like fried chicken… fried chicken and naked bodies.
